P.E. Structures and Associates, LLC is a Design-Build firm based in Roswell, Georgia and established in 2005. We specialize in the design and construction of all types of retaining wall structures, parks, restroom facilities, slope stabilizations, boardwalks, trails, one and two story buildings, overlooks, and pedestrian bridges.

Meet Our Team


Syd M. Mostajabi, P.E.
Senior Project Manager 

Syd is a licensed Professional Engineer in the States of Georgia, Alabama, and South Carolina. He specializes in soils and foundation engineering as well as the design and construction of retaining walls, pedestrian bridges, boardwalks, and trails. He has been working in the Atlanta metropolitan area since 1985 and has gained extensive experience in oversight and has worked on some of the largest and most challenging projects in Atlanta’s history, namely MARTA Transit Authority, Hartsfield International Airport, Georgia Dome, Fulton County Judicial Center, Gwinnett County Detention Center and Airport, Underground Atlanta, and Olympic Village Apartments.

Syd Mostajabi, P.E. has been involved in many of Atlanta’s and its suburbs’ park projects in different capacities, as a senior project engineer/manager, construction manager, and general contractor. He works very closely with the City of Roswell Recreation and Parks Department as a consultant and a general contractor and is a member of the Roswell Rotary Club.

Dawson Gilmore, P.E.
Project Manager/Senior Structural Engineer

Dawson Gilmore is a senior structural engineer and project manager with over 40 years of experience. He graduated from Georgia Institute of Technology in 1973 and is a licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Georgia. Mr. Gilmore has an expansive knowledge and background in the S.T.E.M. (Science Technology Engineering and Math) field from years of working on major Metro Atlantan projects under the umbrella of both public and private authorities including the Corps of Engineers, the Georgia Underground Storage Program, the Lewis Hurd Engineering firm, and Fesco Inc. The combined challenge and variety of projects he has worked on, including numerous State dams, public playgrounds, bridges, and schools, leave him with the skillset and experience to tackle projects as both engineer and project manager.

Hoang Luu
Project Manager

Hoang has assisted and managed the construction of several projects, namely, Lake Windward Elementary School in Alpharetta, Smyrna Recycling Center in Smyrna, Custer Soccer Park in Marietta, Tramore Park in Smyrna, Glover Park Bandstand Restroom in Marietta, and Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville, Georgia.

Hoang Luu received his Master of Science degree in Building Construction from Georgia Institute of Technology in 2017. Hoang also received his Bachelor of Science degree in Architecture with Honors from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2015. Hoang is a former president of the International Honor Society Gamma Beta Phi and a former vice president of Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa. He is also certified in city planning, Blue Card, and OSHA 10 Hours.
